AYSO Region 64 hosts 2 UK Coaches each season who:
- Supervise our U5/U6 program on Saturdays
- Run U8 and U10 player & coach clinics each week (see below and the UK Coach Calendar)
- Mentor/assess AYSO coaches of any level by appointment
- Allow all AYSO 64 coaches to use the online curriculum posted at http://uksocca.com
user name: AYSO64
password: Soccer
- Both coaches can be reached at UKcoach@ayso64.org
Our UK coaches are soccer experts. Region
64 offers a series of UK Soccer Clinics for Players & Coaches every week
(except spring break week). If you want to improve your soccer players'
skills, please plan to attend these
clinics. Coaches are strongly encouraged to
attend as well and help UK coaches at clinics. This helps coaches hone their own techniques and learn good
drills and exercises. UK Coaches provide handouts to coaches who attend.
What you must do to participate:
- Parents and Coaches MUST RSVP to UKcoach@ayso64.org by noon on the day of the clinic. See the UK Coach Calendar for dates & times.
-
All Players MUST bring:
- A soccer ball
- Shin guards with socks over them
- A parent who must stay OR a signed medical release form (either a signed UK form or signed AYSO player registration form)
- A water bottle with their name on it. Please remember sunscreen too if needed.
Clinics will be canceled if too few RSVPs or if the fields close.
Host A Coach
We invite all families to participate in this unique program. Parents with children attending our local day camps host our professional coaches working on that camp. Over the years the 'Host A Coach' program has been hugely successful.
Our coaches have the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate a real American lifestyle and have nothing but great things to say about the fabulous hospitality they received. Host families benefit by learning about the British way of life, it’s cultural differences and enhancing their soccer education. The differences of our language and backgrounds, combined with the love of soccer ensure a memorable week and long lasting friendships for everyone.
Our coaches are typically British men and women from the ages of 20 to 30+. Most are college educated and are either playing semi professional soccer or actively coaching soccer.
UK
Coaches are Hosted by Region 64. HOSTS ALWAYS NEEDED!!! For what is expected, see the
informational flyer.
