For the U8 games, they should referee them as normal but verify that each player is either an AYSO player or is an approved guest player (as indicated by the small AYSO logo sticker each should have on the front of their shirt). Referees may be called upon at the last minute to serve as Game Supervisors in which case they will do very casual refereeing.

we will need experienced referees if possible at muir this saturday.
there will be a MIX of experienced and NEW players, so experienced referees who can help guide the players on field is critical.
REFEREES: CHECK in 30” prior to game time. get the game card from soccerfest table. all players on each team will have pinnies. Buddies will be hand written on the game card. Inspect players 15” prior to game time. UK coaches will do pre-inspection. If referees have back to back games, the Soccerfest Field Marshall or volunteer will inspect team for the referee

ALLOW THE CLUB LINESMAN TO COVER THE ENTIRE LINE TO HELP WITH THROW INS AND ASSIST WITH CORNER KICKS. THE Club linesman, please help direct the location of the throw-in and to help the new players with their throw in. THIS IS OK DURING SOCCERFEST SATURDAY!!!
