Laws of the Game
This is required of all volunteers except referees who have their own course.

Safe Haven Compliance Course
Every volunteer must attend this course once. Sign
up for one session. It
is a one hour discussion on the ins and outs of being a volunteer working with
other people's kids. The intent is to create a safe environment - a
"safe haven" - of trained volunteers where parents can send their kids
to a wholesome, athletic activity, knowing that their children will be well
cared for and respected. You must attend this course, or another just like
it to offered later in the year, in order to referee (or coach or be on the
Regional Board, for that matter). Get the times and locations from the Calendar

Basic Volunteer Training
for Team Parents and Managers, new board members, and all AYSO
volunteers
This is a one-time training requirement that provides you with information
regarding AYSO. AYSO region 64 believes that trained team managers will be an
important part of the coach/asst coach team. Get the times and locations from the Calendar
& Training page.
Field Monitor for U6 and U8 parents
In this position you will assist at U6 and U8 games with on-field
monitoring. You will receive basic safety and volunteer training.
AYSO Safe Haven, and introductory training in soccer for young players - a
regional class. You are expected to be present and help when schedule
for you assign team's games (usually your own child.) You will
coordinate with the other game monitors. Get the times and locations from the Calendar
