When will I know my Child's Team?
When is my Child's Practice?  Games?
We form teams based on the days you told us your child was available for practice during registration. If you give us accurate information on your child's availability, your child will be placed on a team quickly. If the information is inaccurate or your availability has changed, your child will miss practices as we try to place your child on a team.

If your child's schedule changes, then login immediately let us the days your child CAN NOT practice.

In Spring, Coaches will contact families in early March
In Fall, Coaches start to contact families in mid-August

For children who are 4-5 years old, practice is one hour on Saturday for the under 5 (U5) and under 6 (U6) Divisions
For children who are 6-7 and 8-9 years old, divisions are: U8 (Ages 6 and7) and U10 Divisions (Ages 8 and 9). The season for this age group includes one weekday practice and one Saturday game.
For Kids 10-11, 12-15, and 16-18, years old, the season includes two practices a week and one Saturday game.

AYSO includes YOU
YOU make AYSO better by volunteering your time and effort to our all-volunteer organization.  Mark your volunteer job on your calendar.  Please reply to phone/email requests & confirm that you will show up.  This helps us plan and make sure we have staffing for events including Registration so the wait times are shorter.

Buddy Requests - How do I request a Buddy so my kid can play with friends?
We will attempt to honor buddy requests when possible.  Please be sure the buddy has the same practice availability.

-  We know kids are busy with music, math, martial arts, swimming, robotics, and other activities.

Before you list a Buddy, please talk to the parents of the buddy to make sure practice days are aligned.  For example, if your child can practice only on Tuesday and the other child can only practice on Wednesday, we can not put the kids on the same team.

Can I request a specific coach, field, practice time, or game time?
As a volunteer organization, we have a limited number of coaches, referees, and fields.
We will do our best to schedule your child's practices on days that you indicated your child is available when you registered.  If you are contacted and the practice time doesn't work for your family, email/tell the Coach immediately.  Your player will be placed on a waiting list until he/she can be placed on a team with a schedule that works.

We can not give any one child or team a set game times on Saturday (for example morning only games) because we have to schedule about 50 games a Saturday and have all the teams play different teams each weekend. As a result, your team will often have a game on a different slot.

Scheduling is not an automated process. It is a labor-intensive, manual process.

Refunds / Drop Requests
$37.50 per player is non-refundable.  This is the processing fee for registration.
To Drop or Request a Refund, email [email protected].  There's a last drop request date each season, no refunds are issued after this date. Refunds will be issued back to the credit originally used to pay for the registration.

What is iVolunteer.com?
AYSO families are expected to volunteer in 2 ways:

1. One Region volunteer job per family. We've got a wide variety of tasks available -- most take very little time and many involve just dropping food off!  Register for your REGION volunteer job when you register your child for the season.
2. In addition, families need to do one Team volunteer job per player.  These are assigned by the Team Manager at the first team practice or meeting of the season. Many of these TEAM jobs also to involve little time but all are crucial to a successful season.

The iVolunteer system is for volunteering for Region Volunteer Jobs.  Some Region Volunteer Jobs qualify as both Region and Team Jobs.   For example, Coach, Referee, and Team Manager count as Region and Team jobs.  During the team meeting, please volunteer for a team job.

If you have questions, email [email protected].
  • Please select one or more volunteer jobs here.
  • Registration only takes a few minutes
  • Print the email you receive or show the registration worker your volunteer signup on your phone during registration.
